Actor Farhan Akhtar took to his Twitter handle to share a tweet in support of Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar, who has been subjected to nepotism trolling recently. Arjun was recently brought by five time champions Mumbai Indians at the recently concluded 2021 IPL auction. The Toofan star mentioned that he and Arjun go to the same gym and he knows how the young cricketer works hard on his fitness. Farhan has also added that Arjun is also extremely focussed on becoming a ‘better cricketer’.

He has urged everyone not to destroy his enthusiasm before he begins. Farhan’s tweet for Arjun reads as ‘I feel I should say this about #Arjun_Tendulkar. We frequent the same gym & I’ve seen how hard he works on his fitness, seen his focus to be a better cricketer. To throw the word ‘nepotism’ at him is unfair & cruel. Don’t murder his enthusiasm & weigh him down before he’s begun.” Farhan’s girlfriend  Shibani Dandekar also came out in support of Arjun; she re-tweeted her beau’s tweet. Twitter erupted with memes on the legendary cricketer’s son after he was selected by Mumbai Indians team. Meanwhile, on the work front, Farhan Akhtar will next be seen in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s  Toofan. The actor will be seen portraying the role of a boxer in the film. It will also star Mrunal Thakur in the lead role.
