"Foul play not ruled out, investigation is still on" CBI issues statement in Sushant's death

The investigation into the mysterious death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has led to the opening of Pandora's box of drug nexus that runs deep in Bollywood.  Now,  Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday clarified that it is conducting a professional investigation related to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput in which all aspects are being looked at and no aspect has been ruled out as of date. The investigation is continuing, CBI said in a statement. The agency's clarification came after the late actor's family expressed concern about the delay in uncovering 'truth' in the matter. Taking to Twitter, Rajput's sister Shweta Singh had taken to Twitter and said - "We have been so patient for so long! How long will it take to find the truth?"Last week, Sushant Singh Rajput's family's lawyer Vikas Singh, had tweeted:  "Getting frustrated by the delay in CBI taking a decision to convert abetment to suicide to Murder of SSR. The doctor who is part of AIIMS team had told me long back that the photos sent by me indicated 200% that it's death by strangulation and not suicide.

The lawyer had claimed that an AIIMS doctor on the panel investigating Sushant Singh Rajput's autopsy report had shared these findings with him. Mr Singh also alleged that the pace of the CBI probe had "suddenly slowed down" and all attention had been diverted to a drugs-related probe with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducting a "fashion parade" of Bollywood stars. Lawyer Satish Maneshinde, representing Sushant Singh Rajput's arrested girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, had urged the CBI to set up a new medical board "to keep the investigations impartial and free from inference". BJP MP Subramanian Swamy, who was instrumental in initiating a CBI probe into the matter, had also said that it was high times the CBI filed murder charges in the case. The AIIMS panel head had, however, rejected the claims by Rajput's family lawyer and said that it is not possible to arrive at any conclusion basis photographs. Rhea Chakraborty has been in jail since September 9; she was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on charges of organizing drugs for the 34-year-old Bollywood star, who was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14.Sushant Singh Rajput's family has accused Rhea Chakraborty of taking money from him, medicating him and playing a role in his death.
