Shardul Pandit was recently evicted from Big Boss 14 and after his short stay in the house, the actor, who had constantly made clear that he was in need of the show, money and work inside the house, has now approached the host, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, for help. He did so through an interview with India Today. Shardul said that he doesn't have Khan's number but would like to give him a message - to cast him as an actor. "I did get the most elegant farewell on Bigg Boss but there is no work outside. I don't have Salman Khan's number but I would like to give him a message, 'I need work. If you have any position for an actor, please give me work," he recalled.
Shardul was still hoping to go back in the house. Salman also promised him the same. "The moment I left the Bigg boss house, I was taken to my vanity. There I requested to speak to Salman (Khan) bhai for a minute. He told me that like Kavita, even I could be back. After that, I just sat there for two hours. I couldn't cry or feel anything because I needed the show for money. The realisation is finally sinking in that it's over," Pandit said.
Salman Khan had lauded Shardul for being strong and entering the show even when his mother was receiving chemotherapy. He said so as Shardul was exiting the show. The interactions, Shardul says, were his most fond memories of the show.Pandit shared, "My interactions with Salman Khan are by far the best memories I have of Bigg Boss 14. He joked with me and he even felt bad about my eviction. One of my friends also rightly tweeted recently saying, 'Bigg Boss k Bigg Boss Ka Dil jeet liya aur kya jeetoge.’ He always used to speak fondly me. It was almost as if an elder brother is talking to a younger brother." During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode that ended with Shardul’s exit, Salman had mentioned that there was a negligible difference between the audience votes received in favour of Shardul and another nominated contestant, Rubina Dilaik.
