Kangana Ranaut reacts to trolls who bashed her for eating 'onions' on Durga Ashtami

Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut, on Wednesday reacted to trolls who bashed her for eating onions on Durga Ashtami. Kangana wrote, in reaction to the trolling "Can't believe #Onion is one of the top trends. Well this is not to hurt anyone but the beauty of Hinduism is that it's not rigid like other religions, let's not ruin that, I am fasting today if my family wants to eat salad with parsadam let's not ridicule them #Onion #navratri2021." 

On Tuesday, treated her fans with a picture of Durga Ashtami bhog prasad that was made at her home. But the netizens were quick to notice onions in her plate which many Hindus avoid eating during Chaitra Navratri. During the Navratri, Hindus avoid eating garlic and onion. 

The picture soon went viral on the internet and netizens flooded her timeline with reactions. While some of the users made fun of her and others bashed her. 

This year, Chaitra Navratri began on April 13 and will last till Ram Navami on April 21 respectively.
