Thousands of protesting farmers, who entered into Delhi with their tractors this morning, also poured into the Red Fort complex by afternoon, prompting security personnel to resort to lathicharge and tear gas. The police  managed to remove them from inside the fort using batons. Outside the fort, tractors took over the Ramlila Maidan, the site where the farmers had originally planned their protest. The farmers have blamed "anti-social elements" for the violence. For the unversed, the farmers, who had been protesting against the 3 agriculture laws, decided to conduct a tractor rally in New Delhi today. Now actress, Kangana Ranaut has condemned the violent act and hit back at Diljit Dosanjh and Priyanka Chopra Jonas with her tweets. Kangana, who has been tweeting about the Farmers protest over the past few months, wanted Diljit and Priyanka to explain the violence that took place in New Delhi at Red Fort on Republic Day. She took to her twitter handle and shared an image of the same on social media. She wrote, "You need to explain this @diljitdosanjh @priyankachopra Whole world is laughing at us today, yahi chahiye tha na tum logon ko!!!! Congratulations (This is what you wanted)"

In another tweet, she said that those Indians who are supporting these riots in New Delhi are 'terrorists.' She wrote, "Six brands cancelled contracts with me some were already signed some were closing n said I called Farmer terrorists so they can’t have me as an ambassador. Today I want to say each and  every Indian who is supporting these riots is also a terrorist including anti national brands." Earlier, Kangana had accused Priyanka and Diljit of misleading the protesting farmers in several tweets on social media. Diljit also had hit back at Kangana back in December over a comment of hers on a woman protestor. The rally of farmers entered Delhi post the Republic Day parade and reportedly clashed with the police cops on duty. Post this, the Police reportedly used tear gas and lathi-charge to control the protesting farmers. A high level meeting is underway at Union Home Minister Amit Shah's residence where he is being briefed about today's situation. The Home Secretary and Delhi Police Commissioner are in attendance. Internet services have been temporarily suspended in some parts of Delhi amid clashes between the police and thousands of agitating farmers, whose tractor rally veered off the permitted course, news agency ANI has reported. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has closed the entry and exit gates at several metro stations, mainly in north and central Delhi as the situation escalated.
