Karan Johar prepares a 170-day schedule for his magnum opus Takht

Karan Johar's most ambitious project 'Takht' is all set to go on floors by the end of February in a start to end schedule. According to reports, Karan has already locked a 170-day schedule and is currently locking in every actor's dates. Meanwhile, the ace director is also simultaneously working on the final edit of the script. 

Takht chronicles the story of two warring brothers which is set in the Mughal era. The film stars Kareena  Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. In August 2018, Karan Johar had announced the magnum opus on his Instagram. The ace director who is also producing numerous films under his banner Dharma Productions is next gearing up for the release of Good Newwz a romantic comedy starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh.
