Meiyang Chang's big revelation on Indian Idol 12 controversy

The controversy over the popular singing reality show Indian Idol 12 doe not seem to go away. Some of the old Indian Idol contestants have expressed their views after Amit Kumar made a revelation that he was told by the team of the show to praise all the contestants. Abhijeet Sawant, the winner of the first season of Indian Idol, had his say on all these issues and said that nowadays producers value poverty, love angle more than talent.

After Sawant now contestant of the fifth season of the show, Meiyang Chang, has also expressed his opinion regarding the show. According to Aaj Tak's report, Chang said that he has not been in touch with the Indian Idol team for a long time. So he has no idea about the controversy surrounding the show. I had participated when I was in the fifth season and when the show had completed ten years. I am not following the show. So I don't know about the controversy surrounding the show.

“I’ve heard that this season’s singers are trained,” Meiyang added. These singers are very energetic. In the first three seasons, one singer is perfect and the other is untrained like me.
All I hear is that this season’s singers are fully trained. There is a bit of drama in every reality show. But our season was simple because none of us were in the glamor world. There was no exposure on social media. At that time, work was being done with a lot of innocence and transparency.

The top 9 contestants are now in the 12th season of Indian Idol. They include Pawandeep Rajan, Mohammad Danish, Arunita Kanjilal, Sawai Bhat, Ashish Kulkarni, Shanmukh Priya, Anjali Gaikwad, Sayali Kamble and Nihal Taro.
