NCB officials claim Sara Ali Khan's old phone had drug chats with Rhea Chakraborty - Reports

The high-profile case of Sushant Singh Rajput has seen twists from allegations of money-laundering to drug deals. The drugs angle is being investigated by the Narcotics Control Bureau which has already interrogated several Bollywood A-listers such as Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor  and Sara Ali Khan. Now as per a latest report in CNN-News 18, NCB is trying to recover Sara Ali Khan's old phone which the actress was using until 2018. The report mentions that Sara Ali Khan's old phone had  drug chats with Rhea who is currently lodged in Byculla jail for procuring banned drugs.  The latest bit of development is likely to cause more trouble for the Kedarnath actress as she failed to submit her old phone to the NCB post her interrogation. The agency is also trying to unravel whether the phone was used during the shoot of Kedarnath.  Rhea Chakraborty allegedly made allegations that Sushant started taking drugs during the time of Kedarnath shoot which was Sara's debut Bollywood flick. 

Earlier, Sara denied claims related to drug consumption but did admit closeness to her Kedarnath co-star Sushant Singh Rajput. Sara in her statement to the NCB said  that Sushant used to allegedly consume drugs in his vanity van. Sara was linked to Sushant during the promotions of their film Kedarnath. A few months back, Sushant’s close friend Samuel Haokip made a social media post and alleged that Sara and Sushant were together in a relationship. He even alleged that Sara broke up with Sushant after his film Sonchiriya tanked at the Box-Office.  The Simmba actress was questioned for almost 5 and a half hours and she left along with Shraddha Kapoor after being probed by the agency few weeks ago. The NCB had launched an investigation into the drugs case after it received official communication from the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which was investigating the money trail related to Sushant’s death case. Rhea has said in her bail hearing that Sushant used to consume drugs, and would ask those close to him to procure them for him.
