Oscars 2021: Check out list of Oscar winners

The 93rd Academy Awards are being held at both the Dolby Theatre and Union Station. The ceremony is taking place two months later than originally planned, due to the impact left by the COVID-19 pandemic on the entertainment industry.

The nominations for the 93rd Academy Awards were announced on March 15 this year. This is only the fourth time in history that the Academy Awards were postponed. This year's 93rd Oscar ceremony will be available on Disney-Hotstar OTT.

This year at the Oscars, all eyes are on Mank. The film has received 10 nominations this year. Other films include The Father, Judas and the Black Masaya, Minari, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Nomadland, Promising Young Women, Black Bottom, and Sound of Metal.

Nomadland Film wins three Oscars: Nomadland has won this year's Best Picture award at the ceremony.Chloe Zhao bagged the Oscar for Best Director for this film and actress Frances McDormand has been honored with the Best Actress award for the same film.

Best Actress in a Leading Role - American actor Frances McDormand took home the Oscar in the Best Actress category for her much-appreciated performance in 'Nomadland'.
Best Director - Chloe Zhao won the Oscar for Best Director for Nomadland Film. 
Best Actor - Anthony Hopkins won the Best Actor Oscar for Monk Film.

Best Picture: 'Nomadland', the frontrunner of the award season this year, bagged an Oscar for 'Best Picture' at the 93rd Academy Awards.

Best Costume Designer - It was also a historic night for costume designer Ann Roth, who won the Best Costume Designer Oscar for 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom'. At 89, Roth became the oldest recipient of the award in this category. 

Best Original Score - Soul won Oscar for Best Original Score.

Best Film Editing - Mikkel E.G won the award for Sound of Metal.

Best Cinematography

Eric Messerschmidt won the Oscar for Best Cinematography for Monk. Meanwhile, this is David Fincher's second Oscar award for this film.

Best visual effects

Tenet won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects, while Mank won it's first Oscar for Best Product Design.

Best Animated Feature Film

Soul won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film.

Best Documentary Feature

The Oscar for Best Documentary Feature went to My Octopus Teacher was announced.
