R Madhavan tests positive for COVID-19, assures fans he is recuperating well

R Madhavan has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The actor took to social media to share his health update with his fans. His post had a 3 Idiots reference. On Wednesday, March 24, Aamir Khan, Madhavan's 3 Idiots' co-star tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Madhavan mentioned in his post that he is recovering well. R Madhavan took to Twitter and wrote, "Farhan HAS to follow Rancho and Virus has always been after us BUT this time he bloody caught up. BUT-ALL IS WELL and the Covid will be in the Well soon. Though this is one place we don’t want Raju in. Thank you for all the love. I am recuperating well (sic)."

Madhavan played Farhan in the movie while Aamir played Rancho, Sharman Joshi played Raju and Boman Irani played the villainous Viru Sahastrabuddhi (Virus) in the hit 2009 film by Rajkumar Hirani. It is one of the most popular and successful films made in India. Yesterday, Aamir's spokesperson made the reveal to the media on Wednesday. "Mr Aamir Khan has tested positive for Covid 19. He is at home in self-quarantine, following all the protocols and he's doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern," they said. On the work front, R Madhavan’s last Bollywood outing was Tanu Weds Manu Returns in 2015. He made a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan's Zero. In recent years he has been more active in Tamil and Telugu film industries. His last film was Maara. R Madhavan’s next project is Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, which is based on the life of S Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and ISRO official who was arrested after being falsely accused of espionage.
