Raj Kundra earned lakhs per day in pornography business - Reports

Actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra was arrested on Monday night by the Mumbai Crime Branch officials for his involvement in the alleged production of pornographic films that was streamed on his apps. He has been the key conspirator in the case and on Tuesday, he was remanded police custody till July 23. Now as per a Zee News report, Raj Kundra made lakhs of money in a day through the Hotshots app with porn films. Also, his company was involved in a huge amount of bank transfers through this app. In December 22, 2020, Rs 3 lakh transferred from a HotHit account to this XX790 account. Three days later, 11 lakhs was transferred from a HotHit account to this XX790 account. The next day, Rs 10 lakh transferred from a HotHit account to this XX790 account.

In December 28, 2020, Rs 50, 000 transferred from a HotHit account to this XX790 account. The next transaction was in January were, Rs 2, 50, 000 transferred from a HotHit account to this XX790 account. A few days, later, Rs 3 lakh transferred from a HotHit account to this XX790 account. In January 13, Rs  2 lakh transferred from a HotHit account to this XX790 account. According to a report in TOI Kundra, and his team pocketed an average of Rs 5 lakh per movie that was released on mobile applications, including Hotshots. The police have frozen Rs 7.5 crore in various accounts connected to Raj Kundra.The Mumbai Crime Branch have named Raj Kundra as the ‘key conspirator’ in the case. Kundra in his defence said, he sold ‘Hotshots’ for $25,000 in 2019. However, it is also being reported that Raj Kundra and his UK based brother-in-law Pradeep Bakshi are worked together on this app. According to IANS, Raj is the owner of Viaan Industries Ltd, while Pradeep Bakshi -- a British citizen, who is married to Kundra's sister -- is the Chairman of Kenrin Ltd., London. Both the companies worked on the mobile app called 'HotShots Digital Entertainment', developed by Kenrin Ltd. Raj Kundra reportedly supplied the content and controlled the UK firm from his Viaan Industries office.Apart from Raj Kundra, the police have also arrested his IT person Ryan J. Tharpe in the case.
