Rhea reveals 80 percent Bollywood celebs, consume drugs

Rhea Chakraborty who was arrested yesterday by the NCB, during her bail plea made a shocking revelation stating '80% of Bollywood celebrities take drugs'. The Jalebi actress as per a Times Now report, also claimed that she wasn't pressurized by the agencies. Rhea, who is arrested under sections 27A, 21, 22, 29 and 28 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act had appeared before the additional chief judicial magistrate via video call last evening. During the bail plea hearing, the NCB officials sought 14 day judicial custody of the actress and reports suggested that the NCB told the court that she was confronted with all other accused including her brother Showik during her interrogation and that it is clear from her statement that Rhea is an active member of the drugs syndicate connected with drug supplies.

Rhea's lawyer called her arrest as a 'travesty of justice'. "Three central agencies hounding a single woman, just because she was in love with a drug addict and a person suffering from mental health issues.'' Soon after Chakraborty’s arrest, there was a huge outpour of support by Bollywood celebrities seeking #JusticeForRhea.  Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Farhan Akhtar, Shibani Dandekar, Swara Bhasker, and others took to social media to support the actress. Today morning the 28-year old, was moved to the Byculla jail, escorted by the Narcotics Control Bureau officials. Her lawyer is expected to move to the sessions court today after her bail plea was rejected yesterday. On the other hand,  Showik along with others, who were in NCB's custody since the past few days, will be presented in the court today as their custody ends today. Rhea and Sushant were in a live-in relationship together and had been dating for over a year. Sushant died by suicide on June 14 and a month later, his father filed an FIR against Rhea under charges of abetment to suicide.
