Rhea's drug supplier sent to NCB custody, contraband worth Rs 2.5 crore seized

In the latest development,  the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested drug peddler Rigel Mahakal. This peddler has reportedly been known to supply drugs to Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty. He was also produced before the Esplanade Court and sent to two day NCB custody.  According to ANI, Mahakal was responsible for supplying drugs to another peddler named Anuj Keshwani who then supplied it to Rhea, Showik and others. The NCB raided the Lokhandwala area in Mumbai and drugs were also seized reportedly from Mahakal's residence. ANI confirmed the developments as it tweeted, "NCB arrests an absconding accused Regel Mahakal. He'll be produced before court today. He used to supply drugs to Anuj Keshwani (another accused) who further supplied it to others.

The central anti-law enforcement drug agency conducted raids at Milat Nagar, Lokhandwala in Mumbai and seized a contraband 'Malana cream', worth Rs 2.5 crore . Earlier, Keshwani, an alleged drug peddler was arrested by the NCB in connection with a drug case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Keshwani was arrested after Kaizan Ebrahim disclosed his name and claimed that the former was his supplier for contrabands. Earlier, Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, Abdul Basit, Zaid Vilatra, Dipesh Sawant and Samuel Miranda, were arrested by the NCB in the drugs-related case pertaining to Sushant death case. Rhea, former girlfriend of the late Bollywood actor, secured bail in October, her brother walked out of the prison after a special court in Mumbai granted him bail nearly three months after his arrest over drugs-related charges in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14 this year.
