Samantha Akkineni pens heartwarming post for Taapsee after 3 days of IT raids

Taapsee Pannu, Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl and several others faced Income Tax raids at their properties in Mumbai on Wednesday, for alleged tax evasion. The investigating agency carried out searches at over 30 locations in Mumbai and Pune, including homes of several celebrities as well as the now dissolved Phantom Films. Amidst this controversy, Samantha Akkineni penned an appreciation post for them, without mentioning the I-T raids. 

For Taapsee, Samantha wote, "this is just a @taapsee appreciation post..that's all," followed with a heart emoticon. The Pink actress was quick to reply as she wrote, "Uff..thank you Sam...big hug to you," along with a crying and heart emoticon. After the I-T department raid, the actress had tweeted, "3 days of intense search of 3 things primarily 1. The keys of the “alleged” bungalow that I apparently own in Paris. Because summer holidays are around the corner." For the unversed, The I-T officials landed on the sets of 'Do Baaraa' in Pune, which is being directed by Kashyap and features Taapsee in the lead. Sources in the IT department said that the searches may go on for the next three days and that they have started collecting evidence of all kinds. Anurag have worked together for their film Manmarziyaan which starred Vicky Kaushal and Abhishek Bachchan.
