Saroj Khan's prayer meet cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic


National Award winning choreographer Saroj Khan bid the world good bye today early morning leaving her fans and well-wishers in a state of shock. The 71-year-old was laid to rest in Mumbai at 7am in the presence of her family members. The last rites were performed by his son Raju Khan. Now, her family shared a heartwarming portrait on her official Instagram account and thanked fans for their prayers. They also revealed that the prayer meet which was scheduled for next week has been cancelled given the current coronavirus situation. 

Many yesteryear and current Bolywood celebs from Dharmendra to Jhanvi Kapoor many celebrities mourned Khan's demise on social media. Among all the celebrities, Sara Ali Khan also mourned the demise of Saroj Khan and shared a beautiful picture with the late artist wherein she was seen hugging the choreographer. In the caption, the Kedarnath actress stated that Saroj Khan will always be an inspiration for everyone. She wrote, “RIP Masterji. You will forever be an inspiration to all of us. So thankful and grateful for the moments I’ve been lucky enough to share with you.”
