Shatrughan Sinha questions Rhea and Mahesh Bhatt's relationship after their WhatsApp chats gets exposed

Filmmaker, Mahesh Bhatt has once again found himself in the firing line after his leaked WhatsApp conversation with actress Rhea Chakraborty went viral. Soon after the chats hit the web, people questioned  the nature of Rhea and Bhatt's relationship. Now in an, an interview with India Today, senior actor and politican Shatrughan Sinha shared his opinion. Sonakshi's father said, "If we want to present these things, we should bring them to the CBI. We don't even know what kind of relationship they shared. Was he a father, godfather, or what was the relationship? I have never met this girl. What Mahesh Bhatt said and on what basis, I have no right to comment because I do not know the whole thing."

Continuing further he said, he hasn't even met Rhea in real life and Sushant and these people are like his children, considering the age factor. Shatrughan Sinha also added that he hasn't met Mahesh in the last five years and all facts must be presented to the CBI." Earlier, Mahesh's daughter Pooja Bhatt and his wife Soni Razdan came to his defence and said that they received the same message from the filmmaker as Rhea on June 9.  Rhea and Mahesh's leaked chat had shown that the actress had reportedly messaged him after she walked out of Sushant's home on 8 June. One of the messages from that day refers to her character from the film Jalebi and reads, "Ayesha moves on... Sir... with a heavy heart and a sense of relief. Our last call was a wakeup call. You are my angel. You were then... And you are now." Talking about Sushant, the 34-year old was found dead at his Bandra residence after he reportedly hanged himself. According to the Mumbai police the actor was battling depression for the past several months before his untimely demise.
