Shilpa Shetty recently embraced motherhood once again after she had her daughter Samisha through surrogacy. The actress is already a mother to an 8-year-old son Viaan. Shilpa opened up about becoming a mother at the age of 45 at Neha Dhupia’s chat show. According to the actress, yoga has made a big difference in what she used to be 10 years ago. She reminisces the time when she had a few meltdowns after Viaan was born. However, now she feels like it’s like a cakewalk. She also reinstated the fact that she will be 50 when her child will be five. Elaborating further, Shilpa added that she doesn’t care to pay too much attention to other people’s opinions and judgments on her because it’s really not their place. According to her, she is doing her best as a mother.

The actress added that she really wants to bring her child up the way her parents brought them up. The only difference is that they were brought up in a smaller home with a lot lesser in terms of facilities but the same amount of love, if not more. Elaborating on how Raj also plays an important part, she added, “And I just want my child to be grounded, I wanna keep it real for him, so he is reprimanded when he does something wrong, he has to be polite and kind and a good human being at the end of it all. We are trying to give him the best of everything and unapologetically so because I feel if my parents could afford it they would’ve done the same with us. But at the same time, to make him value what is being given to him that is something that we pay a lot of attention to, Raj and me. Meanwhile, on the work front, Shilpa is all set to make a comeback on screen after a long sabbatical with ‘Nikamma’. The film also stars Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia. Apart from this, she also has ‘Hungama 2’ in her kitty. The second instalment also stars Paresh Rawal, Meezaan and Pranitha Subhash in lead roles.
