Siddharth Pithani gets interim bail for his marriage

Siddharth Pithani, former roommate of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, was recently arrested in connection with the Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) ongoing probe into the drug angle in the late actor’s death case. Now as per a Times of India report,  Siddharth Pithani has been granted bail by the court for his marriage. The report further adds, that Pithani will have surrender back on July 2.Zonal Director of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Sameer Wankhede said that Pithani has been given relief for 10 days for his marriage and will have to surrender on July 2. He has not been granted bail.

According to NCB, Pithani was arrested on May 28 from Hyderabad under section 27 (A) of NDPS Act, 1985, for allegedly procuring drugs and helping the late actor get narcotics.Pithani’s lawyer Taraq Sayyed said, his client has been granted interim bail on humantarian grounds. Pithani’s was introduced to Rajput in 2017 by a friend of the late actor. In 2019, he came to Mumbai and stayed with Rajput for some time and worked on the actor’s Dreams 150 project.Pithani was one of those who had reportedly found the actor’s body on June 14 last year. Pithani was traced by the NCB through his social media post and arrested from Hyderabad on May 28.  He was the one who had lowered his body even before the family members arrived at the actor's residence. Sushant  passed away on June 14 last year under mysterious circumstances. The case is currently investigated by CBI, ED, and the NCB.
