Actress Swara Bhasker has once again backed Rhea Chakraborty in the ongoing Sushant Singh Rajput case. The Veere Di Wedding star in her recent interview to a news channel, said that she finds it sickening that conspiracy theories and lies are being fanned on social media. She also wondered why people are finding it difficult to believe that he was depressed. According to her, just because someone is famous, it doesn’t mean things cannot be wrong. She also pressed on the importance of mental health. Rhea in her statement said, that Sushant was undergoing treatment for depression. However, the claims have been refuted by the late actor's friends and family members.
Reportedly, Sushant was being treated for bipolar disorder in the months leading up to his suicide. Swara Bhasker then added that people believing the lies that are being broadcasted is unfair to Sushant Singh Rajput’s family and fans. She said, “We cannot take it upon ourselves to find the truth. It is for the police and the judiciary to do that. We cannot become the judges of society.”Sushant’s father has accused the actor’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty of abetment, to suicide and for having siphoned off his funds. She has denied the allegations and has urged the Supreme Court to transfer the case to Mumbai. Earlier, in an interview with India Today, the veteran actor refuted theories of on the insiders and outsiders debate. The Mohra actor, expressed his displeasure in actors using Sushant's death as a medium to settle their personal scores. He also took a dig at Kangana on the issue, by calling her an half-educated starlet. For the unversed, Sushant was found dead at his residence on June 14 under mysterious circumstances.
