Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal to tie the knot at 12.30 PM today

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan and fashion designer Natasha Dalal are set to tie the knot today at The Mansion House resort in Alibaug. A source had earlier told PTI that Varun and Natasha will get married as per Hindu rituals in the presence of family and close friends. The insider added that the wedding was originally planned for May 2020 but due to COVID-19 pandemic, it was pushed to 2021. Now as per a Pinkvilla report, the lovebirds  will take their wedding vows at 12.30 PM. A source at the venue exclusively revealed to Pinkvilla that the couple will become husband and wife between 12.15 PM to 12.55 PM in Alibaug."

The report futher adds, the bride Natasha Dalal will be the first to arrive at the Mandap in the next 30 minures or so for a Chura and Kalira ceremony. For the unversed, Chura is a set of traditional red bangles that is given to the bride by her maternal uncle. The bride is not allowed to see the entire ceremony so her eyes will be covered. All the family members present at this ceremony touch the bangles turn by turn to bless the bride and send their heartiest wishes along for her new life. The maternal uncle and the maternal aunt then help the bride put on the Churas. This will be followed by the rest of the relatives of the bride tying the Kalire to her Churas. This ceremony is celebrated on the morning of the wedding day and marks the beginning of the wedding ceremony. Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal have largely remained private about their relationship, thus it comes as no surprise that the duo are ensuring  that their wedding festivities remain a closely guarded affair.
