Producer, Shabbir Boxwala's wife has tested positive for COVID-19 as per a report in Times of India. Confiriming the same, the Ishq Forever, producer said, "It's not an easy time. My daughter and I are in the living room and we have to manage literally everything. As far as the food goes, thankfully, a few friends have helped. I have asked the entire housekeeping staff to abstain from coming till Khadija is absolutely fine". It all began when Mrs Boxwalla developed a slight cold with a sore throat. "She isolated herself immediately and the very next day, I told her to get an RT-PCR done. The lab technician came home and unfortunately, my fears were confirmed," Shabbir added.
On the work front, Shabbir's next flick is the Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani-starrer 'Shershaah' with Karan Johar. The fim is being helmed by Tamil director Vishnu Varadhan, known for films like Arinthum Ariyalum, Pattiyal and Billa. Shershaah marks Vishnu Varadhan’s Bollywood debut. Sidharth made the announcement on Twitter a few months ago. The film has been penned by Sandeep Shrivastava. Shershah was earlier scheduled to release in July 2020 but had to be delayed owing to the coronavirus pandemic. The period actioner comes two years after Sidharth’s last release, Milap Zaveri’s Marjaavaan, which was a moderate success.
