Was Sushant Singh Rajput being blackmailed before his death?

Sushant Singh Rajput’s sad demise left everyone in shock, and as the case of his death is being investigated by the CBI a new piece of evidence has emerged. The agency has retrieved some crucial chats which puts Samuel Haokip's role under the lens. The chats accessed by CBI somewhat suggest that Samuel Haokip was blackmailing Sushant before his death. As per Times Now report, Samuel Haokip entered Sushant's life as a friend and legal adviser. Haokip was entrusted to look after the contract of Sushant's farmhouse which ultimately led to a fallout between the two. The report further states that in 2019, at around 2 am, Samuel was asked to leave Sushant's residence. Not only that, it is said that Sushant had once taken Samuel's phone in his possession as the late actor felt cheated by Haokip.

According to reports, when Samuel first signed the farmhouse contract, Sushant was told that it would cost Rs 26 lakh for two years. But only a year later, Sushant's staff told him that the contract was coming to an end and that it was Rs 26 lakh for one year. Sushant got upset about this. On June 9, Sushant was upset over the death of his ex-manager Disha Salian, followed by which on June 11 and 12 days before his death he asked Dipesh Sawant to clear all the farmhouse dues and sent the three dogs for adoption.  Earlier, Samuel Haokip claimed that the late actor and his Kedarnath co-star Sara Ali Khan ‘were totally in love’ until the release of Sonchiriya in 2019. In an Instagram post, Samuel wrote that Sara broke up with Sushant “due to pressure by the Bollywood mafia.” Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan made her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath, which was directed by Abhishek Kapoor. Following this, Sara went on to do Simmba which released days after Kedarnath, while Sushant appeared in Abhishek Chaubey directed Sonchiriya, which arrived three months later.
