Will Sanjay Dutt's ill health affect his 6 big films?

It was only a few days ago that Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with Lung cancer the mega star is more likely to fly abroad for his medical treatment.  However, he has a few work commitments that he will be wrapping up before leaving for the US. On August 11, Dutt, who was hospitalised last weekend due to breathing problems and chest discomfort, shared that he is taking a break for medical treatment. Although the actor or his family members haven’t revealed anything officially, industry insider Komal Nahta wrote on his verified Twitter account: “Sanjay Dutt diagnosed with lung cancer. Let’s pray for his speedy recovery”

Meanwhile, the sudden health scare is likely to put his filmi career on hold but producers of his films are less worried since they are confident that Sanju will return fit and strong.  n an interview with The Times of India,  Karthik Gowda, Executive Producer of KGF: Chapter 2 said, , “Dutt will return after three months, once his treatment is over, to complete my film. His team spoke to me today. I spoke to Dutt two days back.” On Sanjay’s 61st birthday in July, his look as Adheera was unveiled by the makers of KGF: Chapter 2.On August 11, Sanjay Dutt took to social media to announce that he is taking a break from the films for medical treatment and urged his fans not to worry or unnecessarily speculate.

Apart from KGF, Sanju has other films lined up for release which includes Sadak 2 that is set to hit the web on 28th August. Dutt also has Torbaaz which is ready to release on Netflix the first look of the film was recently unveiled. The movie is all about transforming lives through cricket. Next up, there is BHUJ: THE PRIDE OF INDIA, Directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, the film stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha in pivotal roles. Bhuj: The Pride Of India tells the story of 300 women from Madhapar village of Gujarat’s Kutch district, who played a pivotal role in helping India win the war. Adding to the list of his films is YRF’s Shamshera which stars Ranbir Kapoor. Dutt's ill health has delayed the shoot of the film and if reports are to believed then the team will wait for Dutt to get better and then resume shooting in a Andheri studio as he plays an important part in the pending portions. Shamshera is set in the 19th century where Ranbir Kapoor plays a dacoit who revolts against the British Raj with Sanjay Dutt playing the antagonist. Ranbir Kapoor had last played Sanjay Dutt on screen in Sanju and now he will share screen with the actor for the first time.
