"Will try my best": Rhea offers help to those affected by COVID-19 pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic is on its peak in India, with many states runnning out of oxygen and vaccinations as the spread of the virus continues to surge. Meanwhile, the medical fraternity, that continues to risk their well-being and lives with hope of saving many lives. On the other hand, celebs are also stepping in through their social media reach to amplify calls for help. Earlier, actress Bhumi Pednekar created a highlight on her Instagram profile, where she is identifying resources for medicines, oxygen, plasma and donors. Now, actress Rhea Chakraborty has also taken to her Instagram handle to offer a helping hand to citizens who continue to grapple with COVID-19. 

The actress has asked people to reach out to her in any case and assured to help them in any way she can. Rhea said, “Tough times call for unity, help all those that you can.. small help or big help, help is help.. DM me if I can help in any way.. will try my best.. take care, be kind.. Love and strength. Rhea has been in the news for her alleged role in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Add to that her presence in the upcoming film, Chehre with Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi and others. While the trailer did feature Rhea in a 'blink and miss' appearance, her name was absent from the initial posters. Chehre's trailer did feature Rhea for a few seconds in the frame with Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan. The Rumi Jaffrey directorial happens to be her first project after she got bail in the drug case. The film was supposed to release on April 9, 2021. However, owing to the COVID 19 surge, the film was postponed. The new release date is yet to be announced.
