Kabul, Nov 26 Unidentified gunmen intercepted vehicles and abducted 28 travellers in Afghanistan's eastern Wardak province, police spokesman Hajji Mohammad Ofiani said on Thursday.

"The armed militants committed the crime and abducted 28 civil from Kabul-bound vehicles in Jalriz district," the official said to Xinhua.
