Ashoke Pandit demands Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh's resignation after SC allows CBI for Sushant

Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit on Wednesday welcomed the Supreme Court's decision ordering CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case.

Taking to Twitter, the filmmaker said,"Supreme Courts judgement on Sushant Singh Rajput's death case is the defeat of Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh who didn’t allow efficient police officers to work honestly & buckled under his masters. Hence he should resign to save the dignity of Mumbai Police."

While Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh on Wednesday reacted to the SC verdict saying,"We will examine the order copy of the Supreme Court verdict ordering CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case to decide future course of action".

"We are awaiting a copy of the order once we get it we will examine it and decide further course of action. We have asked our advocates in the Supreme Court to send us a copy at the earliest," Singh told reporters here.


The apex court on Wednesday morning ordered a CBI probe into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and asked Mumbai Police to hand over all evidence collected so far in the case to CBI.
