Chiplun Flood: Crocodile swims through streets of flooded city, video goes viral

The people of Chiplun, who were surrounded by flood waters, are facing a new crisis. It has come to light that crocodiles in the Vashishti River have now entered the residential area due to floods. This has created an atmosphere of fear among the residents who are already surrounded by flood waters. In Khardi village in Chiplun, a video of a crocodile entering residential area has come to light. Khardi is a densely populated area. 

The Khardi area has also been hit hard by the floods. On Friday the flood waters receded to some extent. There is a lot of mud and silt in the streets, shops, houses. There is still no water in some parts. As crocodiles were seen in the flood waters, it is being reported that crocodiles have infiltrated the residential areas.

There are a lot of crocodiles in the river Vashishti. The Vashishti and Jagbudi rivers have been flooded due to heavy rains for the last two-three days. Therefore, Khed and Chiplun have been affected the most. As the water from Vashishti river has entered the city, the crocodiles from the river is also likely to enter the residential areas.
