COVID-19: Lockdown will be announced in districts that will report more cases, says Rajesh Tope

Lockdown is not an option for the growing number of patients but the restrictions will be tightened. The people of the state should cooperate by abiding by the Corona rules, "he appealed to the media.

He further alo added that corona cases are increasing, if situation deteriorates then lockdown will be announced in districts that will report more cases. Around 20 lakhs people in Mumbai have been fined for not following COVID norms.

"Eighty-five per cent of the total covid cases in the state are asymptomatic. Therefore, most of them have been advised to quarantine at their homes. As a result, there is no shortage of hospital beds in the state at present, ”Tope said.

The formula of tracking, testing and treatment is being carried out to prevent the spread of infection and the number of corona tests is being increased in the state. Strict restrictions are being imposed to prevent crowds at weddings, social functions, etc., and citizens should also be careful. The use of corona prevention rules such as social distancing, use of masks and frequent hand washing by citizens can limit the number of patients.
