COVID-19: Maha CM Thackeray warns people to avoid crowding amid Delta Plus variant scare

While the threat of coronavirus has not yet fully averted, the Delta virus has now forced the Maharashtra government to re-impose restrictions in the state from today.
Speaking on the occasion of inauguration of covid center on the same background, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has appealed to the citizens to avoid crowding. Also, the Chief Minister has given a serious warning that if we do not avoid the crowd, another wave could reverse.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray today inaugurated the Worli Sealink to Bandra-Kurla Complex at Kalanagar Junction. The Chief Minister reminisced about his childhood, saying that the opening of the flyover today would help in reducing traffic congestion in the area. Afterwards he inaugurated Covid Center and talked about covid situation in the statebed.

CM Thackeray thanked all the citiens for co-operating during the second wave of corona, but also suggested to take more precautions ahead of the their wave. Lack of medicine, lack of oxygen, we had to face during the second wave. However, the second wave is not over yet, although it has subsided, it has settled in one place.

"After unlock people have started crowding and the third wave can hit us at any time. But the danger is that the second wave will reverse, because the second wave of the virus is called delta. The new variant that has been found is called Delta Plus. Delta Plus has not spread yet, but Delta is dominating the state and the country," he said.

If we do not avoid crowding cases could increase exponentially. Therefore, citizens will realize the importance of what we have done from today. Meanwhile, the government is working for the citizens, making decisions for them. The Covid Center that was inaugurated today should remain emtpy just like it is now. The Chief Minister concluded his speech by saying that the time to enter the centre should not come for anyone, the citizens of the state should stay healthy and live a long life.
