The number of corona cases in Maharashtra has been increasing significantly over the last several days. For the first time, the highest number of 31,855 new corona patients was registered in the state.

On the other hand, more than 5,000 new patients were registered in Mumbai alone. On Tuesday, 28,699 new corona cases were registered in the state. On Monday, 24,645 new patients were registered in the state.

The last several days have seen a huge increase in the number of corona cases in the state. Restrictions have also been imposed in many districts of the state to curb the spread of the disease.

Meanwhile, Additional Commissioner of Mumbai Municipal Corporation Suresh Kakani has given important information about Mumbai local train and lockdown. "There is currently no news of a lockdown. We are focusing on only three things. We are focusing on increasing testing, increasing infrastructure and speeding up vaccinations. We will definitely succeed in this. We have formed squads at railway stations," said Kakani.

We have appointed these teams for the trains coming from outside. It is our endeavor to maintain the capacity at which local trains are currently operating. We have no plans to reduce it. But government offices, semi-government offices, private offices should have 50% attendance.

"Everyone should follow this rule so that the congestion in the locals is reduced to some extent," he said.

More than 5,000 corona cases were reported in Mumbai in 24 hours on Wednesday. Meanwhile, this is the highest increase in the number of patients and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has appealed to follow Corona's guidelines. At present, there are more than 35,000 active cases in Mumbai and the cure rate is 90%. At present, the duration of doubling of patients in the state is 84 days, informed the BMC.
