Maha govt files reconsideration petition in Maratha Reservation case in SC

Maharashtra government has filed an appeal in the Supreme Court in the Maratha reservation case. BJP MP Sambhaji Raje informed about this on Twitter. A special meeting on Maratha reservation was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. During the meeting, Sambhaji Raje had met Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. In the meeting, it was discussed that an appeal would be filed in the Supreme Court.

"Today, Maharashtra government has filed for the review petition in context with Maratha_Reservation in the Supreme Court as per the primary demand raised by us," said 
Sambhaji Chhatrapati

"I had personally demanded that the petition should make note of the fact that the English translation of remaining Annexures as presented by Gaikwad Commission shall be submitted in SC," Sambhaji Raje said in his tweet.
