Maharashtra has maintained its top position in the country by vaccinating more than 3 crore citizens against corona till 2 pm today. Maharashtra is the first state in the country to reach the stage of three crore vaccinations in the country, said Dr. Pradeep Vyas, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Health.

As many as 3 crore 27 thousand 217 people have been vaccinated in Maharashtra till 2 pm today. For the second day in a row, Maharashtra on Wednesday vaccinated 6 lakh 2 thousand 163 people in the Corona Prevention Vaccination Campaign. This is the largest number of vaccination ever given in a single day. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Health Minister Rajesh Tope lauded the record-breaking performance of health officials and staff. Since then, doses of 3 crore vaccines have been completed today.
