Mukesh Ambani bomb scare: Mansukh Hiren's family not satisfied with postmortem report, demand high level inquiry

Mansukh Hiren, owner of the Scorpio car parked with explosives outside the Ambani's home was found dead in Thane.Mansukh Hiren's post mortem was carried out at Thane Municipal Corporation's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital. According to the report, Hiren died due to drowning. Hiren's viscera will be sent to a forensic lab for further investigation. 

Meanwhile, Hiren's family has refused to accept dead body after receiving autopsy report, police said. The family has refused to take Mansukh Hiren's body into custody. The family is demanding a high-level inquiry into his death. Police are requesting his family to take the body into custody.

In this regard, the President of Thane Chamber of Commerce and Industry Devilal Jain said that a high level inquiry should be held into the death of Mansukh Hiren.  Hiren was killed, and the case should be investigated.

There was handkerchief stuffed in his mouth, no one will believe that it was suicide, no further decision will be taken till a satisfactory answer is received from the authorities, action must be taken against those who are guilty, who takes so many handkerchiefs from the house. If the inquiry is not completed then how can one say it was suicide.

Social activist Sandeep Khambe said the family had requested the police to take the body into custody but they won't until a satisfactory reply is received.

Hiren's family expressed doubts about his death. The Maharashtra government on Friday handed over the investigation of bomb scare outside Mukesh Ambani’s residence Antilia last week to the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS).
