Mumbai: Man arrested for stopping Ajay Devgn's car over his tweet regarding farmers' protest

Mumbai Police on Tuesday arrested a person for stopping actor Ajay Devgn's car over his tweet regarding farmers' protest, in Goregaon area of Mumbai. 

The accused has been identified as Rajdeep Ramesh Singh (28), was arrested for allegedly blocking Devgn's car and misbehaving with him at the entrance of Film City on Tuesday morning

The incident occurred around 10.30 am on Tuesday. The accused is a farmer supporter from Punjab, said police. He stopped the actor’s car and asked him why he didn’t speak in support of the farmers’ protest, they added.

A complaint was filed by Pradeep Indrasen Gautam who is Devgn’s bodyguard. Dindoshi police arrested the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
