Mumbai Rain Updates: Red alert issued from weather department, heavy rains to continue for next 3-4 hours

Mumbai city and suburban districts have been receiving continuous rains since this morning and the Mumbai Division of the Indian Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rains for the next 3 to 4 hours. It is currently raining heavily in the suburbs including Mumbai city. Heavy rains have lashed parts of Mumbai leading to water-logging in several low-lying areas. Therefore, the municipality has appealed to the citizens to leave their homes only if there is an urgent need.

A red alert has been issued to Mumbai for the next three to four hours. While an Orange Alert has been issues for the next two to three days. Therefore, the next four days will be rainy for Mumbaikars. Therefore, the administration has appealed to Mumbaikars to be careful.

"Heavy rains are expected in Central Maharashtra along the Konkan coast. There is also a possibility of heavy rains in Marathwada. A red alert has been issued in Konkan for the next 48 hours. There will also be a red alert in the hilly areas of ​​central Maharashtra. There will be a red alert in Mumbai till 8.30 am tomorrow.
