Political connection behind disappearance of famous Pune businessman Gautam Pashankar?

A 64-year-old owner of a leading two-wheeler dealership agency in Pune has gone missing since 8 days and his whereabouts are still not known to the police yet. 

Kapil Pashankar, son of the missing businessman Gautam Pashankar, has expressed the possibility that his father was abducted. He has also alleged that there is a political connection behind his father's abduction.

In this regard, Kapil Pashankar met the Pune Commissioner of Police. In his meet, he expressed suspicion that a political figure was behind the disappearance of his father Gautam Pashankar. Kapil has informed the Pune Police Commissioner about this politician. 

Speaking to media on the occasion, Kapil Pashankar said that he got to know that a person was constantly threatening his father for money. He had also filed a case against his father.

Pashankar’s advocate Prasad Kulkarni, said, “Our client Kapil Pashankar has been supporting the police investigation in a neutral manner.”

Gautam Pashankar, chairman of Pashankar Auto, had left a "note" behind saying that nobody should be held responsible for his actions.

"Pashankar went missing on October 21. We have recovered a note in which he has stated that he has been suffering losses in the business since the last two-three years and because of his decisions, his children are facing troubles," a senior officer from Shivajinagar police station said.

"The note says that nobody should be responsible for his disappearance or suicide," he said. “Some of my decisions related to business have caused trouble for my family members…. nobody should be held responsible…,” the note read.
