Pune: Dagdusheth Ganpati temple to celebrate Ganeshotsav virtually

Due to the coronvirus pandemic this year's Ganeshotsav will be celebrated in a simple manner and the government has appealed to the public to celebrate the ten-day Ganpati festival in their mandal temple itself and not involve in setting up huge decorations and programmes.

Pune city’s famous Dagdusheth Halwai Sarvajanik Ganpati Trust has also announced that this year's Ganeshotsav will be celebrated at the temple itself. 

This is the first time in the last 127 years the festival would not be celebrated in a grand way.

Apart from celebrating the festival in the temple, emphasis will be laid on Bappa's online darshan facility and online programs, informed Ashok Godse,  president, Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple Trust in a press conference.
