Raigad Flood: Another landslide in Poladpur kills 11 people, many feared trapped

Eleven people were killed in a landslide at Kevnale, Sutarwadi in Poladpur taluka on Thursday night. As many as 13 people were injured who have been admitted to hospitals in Paeladpur and Mahad for treatment. Raigad district has been badly affected by heavy rains. So far, 36 bodies have been exhumed at Mahad-Talai.

There is still fears that a large number of civilians might be trapped under the rubble. In addition, four houses at Kevnale in Paeladpur were damaged. Six people have died in it, while a 5 people died in Sutarwadi, so a total of 11 people have died due to landslide. 

13 injured people were admitted to hospitals in Mahad and Paeladpur.
