Sachin Sawant: Sad that governor gave appointment to Kangana who insulted CM by using filthy language

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut met Maharashtra governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari after the BMC partly demolished her illegal office in Bandra. In this backdrop, Congress leader Sachin Sawant has criticized governor's meeting with Kangana.

Sawant took twitter and wrote,"Our Honorable Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari ji may be from Uttarakhand, but currently he is our own from Maharashtra. Constitutionally, he is the head of state of Maharashtra. By constitution, it is constitutional responsibility of governor to safeguard divinity of the post of CM."

"Hence it is sad that he gave an immediate appointment to Kangana who not only defamed Mumbai police, insulted Maharashtra by comparing Mumbai with Pakistan but also insulted CM by using filthy language. People suspect that there was pressure on Mahamahim. Be that as it may!"

"Even though Hon'ble Governor met her, Ppl would have been happy if he had reprimanded her with same swiftness as he called Ajoy Mehta. But instead people feel dejected after seeing Kangana showing little respect for Governor of our Maharashtra when she sat on chair before he opted to sit."

Kangana Ranaut, who is fighting the demolition of her Mumbai office at the Bombay High Court, had hit out at CM Thackeray in a video released on September 9, in which she addressed him as "tu" (you).

"Uddhav Thackeray, tujhe kya lagta hai? (what do you think?) That you colluded along with the film mafia, demolished my home and took revenge on me? My home was demolished today, your arrogance will crumble tomorrow," the actor said.

"This is the wheel of time. Remember, it never stays the same," Ranaut, declared, hours after Mumbai's civic body began demolishing what it claimed were illegal alterations to the actor's office in the city's Pali Hills area.
