Former Commissioner of Police Parambir Singh had leveled shocking allegations against Anil Deshmukh for recovering Rs 100 crore. The High Court directed the CBI to probe the allegations.

After that, Anil Deshmukh submitted his resignation to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, saying that it was not appropriate for him to remain as Home Minister on moral grounds. While this case is fresh, suspended Sachin Vaze has dropped a letter bomb that mentions the name of another minister of the Mahavikas Aghadi government.

In the letter, Sachin Vaze has also claimed that Maharashtra Transport Minister and Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab had asked him to extort money for him and pressured him to recover from the contractors.

Against this backdrop, Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam tweeted that Sachin Vaze has made a sensational statement. Another minister has been charged with ordering recovery. Shiv Sena is stuck at this time. So will these ministers resign like former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh? He has said that this is a question of morality.

Nirupam took to Twitter and wrote," Sensational confessional statement of suspended police officer Vaze. Another minister accused of ordering recovery. This time Shiv Sena has come under the radar. Will these ministers also go like the former home minister? This is the question of morality."

"The home minister told me that he will convince Pawar saheb and for that purpose, he asked me to pay Rs 2,00,00,000. I had expressed my inability to pay such an amount. On this the home minister asked me to pay it in a later course," Sachin Vaze wrote in his letter. Additionally, Sachin Vaze has also claimed that he had told then Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh about the extortion demands made by Anil Deshmukh and Anil Parab. Param Bir Singh reportedly told him to not act on the demands.
