Urmila Matondkar: Bollywood was safe because of Balasaheb Thackeray

Shiv Sena leader and actress Urmila Matondkar attended the blood donation camp organized at Shivaji Park ground in Dadar on the occasion of the birth anniversary of late Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray. Matondkar also paid homage to the memorial of Balasaheb Thackeray. 

"Even though I came here today as a part of Shiv Sena member, I have always had respect for Balasaheb. It was because of Balasaheb we were able to work safely in the film industry. Every Marathi man has love for Balasaheb in his heart. So his thoughts and Balasaheb are still with us." Urmila Matondkar said while interacting with the media.

"Among the current eloquent leaders, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is a man who believes in action by speaking less. His action speaks more than his words," said Urmila Matondkar. "The manner in which the Chief Minister exercised restraint during the Covid period was admirable. There are very few such leaders in the country as a whole and we are very proud that the most important leader is the Chief Minister of our state, "she added.
