6 tourists allowed in Gypsys at Bor, Karhandla sanctuaries

After the decision to allow six people in Gypsy at Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR), the district collector has given permission to allow six tourists in a gypsy at Bor Tiger Reserve and Umred-Pauni-Karhandla Wildlife sanctuaries.

After the Covid-19 pandemic, the forest tourism sector had come to complete halt, but now now six tourists will be allowed in Gypsy instead of four tourists. TATR local administration has allowed six tourists in a Gypsy recently. Other wildlife sancutaries also demanded the same, including the Gypsy drivers and guides. The drivers and guides said that due to Covid, there was a huge loss and hence six tourists be allowed in one Gypsy. Taking into consideration the demand, district collector Ravindra Thakare allowed six tourist in a Gypsy.

Being the president of District Disaster Management Authority, Thakare has taken into consideration all the rules and regulations before issuing the circular. Now six tourist in Gypsy, 20 people in 24 seater bus and 15 people in 18 seater bus will be allowed.
