Bike rider crushed to death

An uncontrolled four-wheeler crushed a bike rider to death near Vanjari Nagar under Ajni police station area. The deceased has been identified as Kailash Shivram Patli (43), a resident of Savitribai Phule Nagar.

Kailash was going home riding on a bike on Monday night. At that time 55-year-old Kishore Ramratan Jangid , a resident of Rahate Colony, was going to TB Ward from Tukdoji Putla Square on his four-wheeler. Near Vanjari Nagar water tank, the four-wheeler hit Patil. Patil sustained serious injury. He was taken to Government Medical College and Hospital where he was declared dead. Ajni police arrested Jangid and registered a case.

Construction of cement road has been going on for a long time near Vanjari Nagar water tank. Due to this, the drivers are facing a lot of trouble. Road construction contractors and officials do not care. It is dark at night. The vehicles coming from the TB Ward are not able to detect the vehicles coming from the direction of Tukdoji Putla Square due to the diversion near the water tank.
