'Make yoga an integral part of our life'

Nagpur, June 10

The pro-vice chancellor of RTM Nagpur University Dr Sanjay Dudhe said in the modern era yoga should become an integral part of our life. Post-Covid it will be a huge challenge before society to keep the people mentally fit and in such situation, pranayam and yoga exercises can become beneficial.

He was speaking during seven--day national-level webinar organised by the Department of Sports and Physical Education of RTM Nagpur University.

Speaking further Dr Dudhe said just as the family members assemble together to take their dinner, each family member should do yoga collectively in the morning. Three things including daily routine life, healthy diet and daily yoga for one hour can save us from Covid infection.

While addressing the students he said, to become energetic the students should follow yoga regularly in their life. It will also help them to improve their memory power.

Registrar of Kavi Kulguru Sankrit Vidyapeeth Dr CJ Vijaykumar presided over the session.

Speaking o the occasion he said, " The human being get an inspiration to do good work from mind and yoga plays an important role in keeping the mind balanced and healthy. Yoga also teaches to control emotions. Right from the children to veterans one should do yoga regularly", he said.

The webinar has been organised in association with Kavi Kulguru Sanskrit Vidyapeeth Ramtek, SB City College, Priydarshini Mahila Mahavidyalaya wardha and Nabira Mahavidylala Katol.

Arjuna and Dronacharya awardee Vijay Munishwar and member of board of physical education of RTM Nagpur University Dr Dhaananjay Welukar also graced the occasion.

Dr Sharad Suryavashi made introductory remarks. Dr Sanjay Choudhary proposed a vote of thanks.
