The Department of Sports and Physical Education of RTM Nagpur University is organising a seven-day national webinar on yoga in association with Kavi Kulguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, SB City Colege, Proydarshini Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Wardha and Nabira Mahavidyalaya, Katol from Thursday. Pro vice-chancellor of RTM Nagpur university Dr Sanjay Dudhe will inaugurate the webinar in the presence of registrar of Kavi Kulguru Sanskrit Vidyapeeth Dr CG Vijaykumar, Arjuna and Dronacharya awardee, senate member Vijay Munishwar, member of Board of Physical Education Dr Dhananjay Welukar, informs director of Department of Sports and Physical Education of RTM Nagpur University Dr Sharad Suryavashi.
In the first session, assistant professor of Ranchi University Dr Manoj Joshi will speak on ' Yoga in Pandemic'. Secretary of Maharashtra Yoga Association Dr Arun Khodaskar will preside. International yoga player Dhanashri Lekurwale will also remain present.
On day two, Dr Laxminarayan Joshi of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University Dr Laxminarayan Joshi will speak on ' Scientific application of asana and pranayam' whereas yoga assistant professor of Ranchi Vidyapeeth Sourav Nilesh will express his thoughts on ' Importance of Yogic Breathing' on third day. On the fourth day (June 13) director of the naturopathy department of MJ College Jalgaon Dr Devanand Sonar will speak on ' Pranayam and Yoga Nidra for Mental Health' On June 14, Sujata Dravyakar of Chakrapani, Panchkarma, Yoga and Naturopathy Mahavidyalaya will speak on 'Omkar for mental health'. On sixth day (June 15) Dr Pradyumna Singh Shekhawar of Jain Vishwabharti Institute will speak on ' Importance of Preksha Meditation.
On the last day the session on the topic ' Yoga science is India's heritage' will be presided over by director of the department of sports and physical education of Savitribai Phule Pune University Dr Depak Mane. The valedictory function will be held on June 16 at 9.30 a.m. Vice-chancellor of kavi Kulguru Sanskrit Vidyapeeth Dr Shriniwas Warkhedi, Dr Arvind Sajwan from Rani Laxmibai National Institute of Physical Education, senate member Dr Damodar Satpute, Dr Vishakha Joshi and others will also grace the session
