SFSOBA holds friendly cricket match

Nagpur, Jan 17

The SFS School Old Boys Associaiton , a registered organization of ex students of SFS High School Nagpur conducted it's regular event of annual friendly inter batch cricket matches, at the SFS School grounds .

The event was inaugurated by the President of the SFS OBA Arunpal Singh Behal and the event head Manpreet Singh Anand in the presence of general secretary Lijo Jose and treasurer Santosh George and Mr Nitin Datar .This year the matches were organised in the memories of Mohammed Suffian, Navneet Bhandari and Praveen Jambhulkar ,who have played a major role in building up the event of these matches . The families of the three were also present and were welcomed and honoured by SFS OBA . The event was a opportunity for friends to come together,and also the time to remember and honour the three lost brothers of SFS OBA. The event is unique in which young and old play together .A member aged 53 years competes with a young member aged 17 years.

The inaugural match was held between SFS OLD BOYS and St. John’s OLD BOYS who used to be arch rivals in their school days . The old memories of schools were revived and the teams were hooting each other like school kids .The SFS OBA went on to take the Victory but the actual winner was brotherhood and St Johns Old Boys led by Mr. Atif Jameel other team members were Ashish Dey, Vaibhav Naidu, Ujjwal Chowdhulary, Sohail Khan, Pankaj Sharma, Uttamjeet Singh Kohli, Mohsin Patni, Ujjwal Ambade, Nitin Bohra, Amit D, Mr. Saif Qureshi, Punit G and Bharat Agarwal were given the Brotherhood Trophy.
