Vidarbha's Anuiruddha sparkles at Ireland

Former Vidarbha Ranji player Aniruddha Chore playing as a professional cricketer at Belfast in Ireland cracked a fabulous century to help his team North Down record a comprehensive 175 run victory over Waringstown in the Premier League One-Day Tournament on Saturday.Playing in overcast condition and when the ball was swinging, Chore slammed 115 in 130 balls with the help of 11 boundaries. In the process he made match-winning 264 run opening wicket partnership with captain Alistair Shields (123) sending the rival bowlers on a leather hunt. The century knock by both the batsmen helped North Down to score a good total of 284 losing seven wickets in 50 overs. In reply, their rivals were bundled out for 109 in 30.1 overs.

After facing defeat in the first match, Chore's knock has increased the confidence of other batsmen.
