The number of corona patients in the country is increasing day by day. More than three lakh corona patients are being registered in the country every day since last week. As a result, the situation in many states of the country is getting out of hand.

There have been shocking incidents in many places due to the huge stress on the health system. A 2-year-old girl died after the hospital refused to provide treatment as he was covid positive. After the toddler passed away her family came to know that her corona report was negative.

The negative report shocked the whole family. A 2 year old lost her life due to irresponsibility of a government hospital in Durg district. The two-year-old girl was admitted to district hospital in Durg with fever and diarrhea. Her report came corona positive in the preliminary investigation after which the hospital began treatment but her condition did not improve. As there was no ventilator at Durg hospital doctors told her family to take her to Pandari District Hospital in Raipur.

After reaching Pandari district hospital, the family waited for the doctor for about an hour. However, the 2 year old was refused ventilator by the hospital as she was covid positive.

The hospital advised the family to take her to Mekahara Hospital. The hospital staff at Mekahara took a long time to see if the beds were available. The toddler's family said the girl's condition was deteriorating and requested her to start treatment. But the hospital staff did not listen to them. Eventually the doctor called the 2 year old for check up but by then, the girl had died in the ambulance.

As soon as the girl died, the ambulance driver brought her body out of the ambulance and he took the ambulance away. After this, the family brought the girl to Durg district. She was cremated. Four hours after the funeral, the girl's family received a report of the girl's corona test on their mobile phones. It was negative. The girl was not treated in hospital because her corona report was positive. But she was not actually infected with the corona. The negligence of the Durg District Health Department claimed the life of 2-year-old girl.
