India is currently dealing with a devastating second Covid-19 wave that has swept through the nation, crushing the country's health infrastructure and overburdening frontline medical workers.

Amid the second wave there is huge shortage of oxygen, hospital beds and Remdesivir injections.

This ha led to stockpiling of Remdesivir injections, black market and sale of fake Remdesivir injections. Meanwhile, in Indore and Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh, 90 per cent of the coronavirus patients who were given fake Remdesivir injections from Gujarat have recovered from the disease. The police have  given this shocking information. Police also said that the state health department needs to think seriously about this.

According to the Times of India, a police official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that 10 of the people who were injected with fake Remdesivir injections in Indore died. However, the injections contained only glucose and salt water, but more than 100 people have been cured. However, it is not possible to examine the bodies of those who died due to cremation.

Four people were arrested two days ago from Vijayanagar in Indore. Police have arrested dozens of people in connection with the case. Police will now nab Sunil Mishra, Puneet Shah and Kaushal Vora, the main accused in the case, from Gujarat. Police have arrested Prashant Parashar from Bhopal. He had bought 100 fake Remdesivir injections from the main accused Sunil Mishra.

Meanwhile, Prashant Parashar, who is also an active Congress activist, was given some important responsibilities during the Corona period.

According to the police, 700 fake Remdesivir injections were brought from Gujarat to Madhya Pradesh. Initially 200 and then 500 fake Remdesivir injectionts were brought. Of these, 100 Remdesivir injections were sold to Prashant Parashar.
