After his ouster from Congress, Sachin Pilot clarifies he is not joining the Modi government

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot a day after his ouster from the Congress party has confirmed that he is not joining the BJP. "I am not joining the BJP. I would like to make it clear that I have no plans to join the BJP. The BJP link is an attempt to malign me in the eyes of the Gandhis," Sachin Pilot told NDTV, pointing out that he had worked hard to defeat the BJP. The 42-year-old Congress leader launched his revolt on Sunday after nearly two years of feuding with his main rival and former boss, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. 

He said he felt humiliated after being asked to answer questions in an investigation started by the Chief Minister into alleged attempts to dislodge the Congress government.Sachin Pilot was 26 when he became an Member of Parliament. Meanwhile, notice has been issued to Sachin Pilot and 18 other party members, for not attending Congress Legislative Party meetings. Issuing first response after being sacked Pilot tweeted, "Truth can be harassed but cannot be defeated". The former Congress leader is likely to hold a press meet soon on the ongoing issue.
